This policy explains how refunds work for an Edgity subscription. Subscriptions are purchased in the Edgity Android app and billed by Google Play. The web app at edgity.app does not take payments — your subscription works there too when you sign in with the same account.
Every account can unlock free football matches every day and no payment details are required to use them, so you can evaluate Edgity before you pay anything. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, and refunds are handled by Google under its refund policy.
1. Free access
Every account can unlock a limited number of football matches each day for free; the current number is shown in the App. For a match you unlock, you see the same match analysis as subscribers, except AI Assist. No payment method is required, and free access never converts into a paid subscription. We may change the number of free matches or what free access includes.
2. Refunds through Google Play
Subscription payments are processed by Google Play, not by us, and Google's refund policy applies. You can request a refund through your Google Play account (order history) or Google Play support. Google decides refund requests under its own policy.
If Google declines a request you believe is justified — for example a renewal you did not intend and have not used — contact us and we will look at it. Where appropriate, we can issue a refund through Google Play.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — weekly, monthly, every three months or annually, depending on the plan you chose — unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, because you keep access for the full period you paid for.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store: tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Edgity → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund. Deleting your Edgity account does not cancel your subscription — cancel it in Google Play as well.
5. Exceptions
We will not support a refund request where:
- the account has been used in breach of our Terms of Service — for example sharing credentials, scraping, or reselling access;
- there is evidence of repeated subscribe-and-refund activity on the same account, payment method, or person.
6. What we do not refund
Edgity is a statistical analytics tool. It calculates probabilities and fair prices from public data; it does not place bets, guarantee outcomes, or predict results with certainty. Betting losses are not grounds for a refund, and we cannot compensate for any financial decision made using information from the service. This is set out in our Terms of Service.
7. How to contact us
Email us from the address associated with your Edgity account and include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.) if you have it. We will confirm receipt and aim to respond within 3 business days.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes are not applied retroactively to refund requests already submitted.
